Archaeological Museums Tour
8:30am Leave from your Hotel in Guatemala City (Antigua hotel transfer can be arranged) for transfer to the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnohistory. Your archaeology guide will help you see the reign of the Maya through the centuries, nicely depicted in the museum. Depending on you special interest the tour will concentrate on the areas you will be visiting.

Transfer to restaurant for Lunch in one of the various types of cuisines of Guatemala city.

After lunch, tour the Popol Vuh museum with its extensive collection of Mayan ceramic Art and musical instruments. Option: Can return to National Museum for the entire day.

Return to Hotel in the early evening.

Options: the Ixchel Museum (a weaving museum) can be substituted for the Popol Vuh museum.
